Ruggaton Cottage is one of nine cottages located within the North Devon area of outstanding natural beauty. Sleeping 4, this is the perfect retreat for families with kids of all ages, for so many reasons.
This is a great place to make new friends, whether human or animal! All play facilities are shared with the other 8 cottages on the complex, allowing for kids to free range around in the gaming barn or have a splash in the shared heated indoor pool, whatever the weather. You could spend many hours of your holiday here just relaxing while the kids play together.
For those with little ones, there is a toddler pool, along with an enclosed outdoor play area with swing basket, trampoline, baby swing and picnic benches. If your kids are a little older, you may just want to relax in the on site hot tub, or perhaps lap up some sun while the kids play on the spacious shared lawn area.
This place has all the best parts of camping, without the risk of your home blowing away!
A short drive away is the local village of Combe Martin, here you will find everything you need to stock up on essentials, including a bakery, a few small grocery shops and the popular 17th century inn, The Old Mill. Golden sandy beaches are just a 20 minute drive away (Croyde, Saunton, Putsborough and Woolacombe) – All very popular with surfers, which kids and adults alike just love to watch.
Popular family friendly tourist attractions in the area include The Big Sheep, Dartington Crystal, Milky Way Amusement Park and Combe Martin Wildlife Park.
